Artist Statement
I like to create shapes and chase the wax across the paper or the board. I paint not only abstract, but realistic images, such as flowers and birds. I only use pure wax for 70% of my art. I love painting flowers with the encaustic iron, as well as nature scenery. The pigments I use are few, and I use them to create shapes on top of the wax. My endless love for nature, combined with the wax help me create true masterpieces.
